Lean Manufacturing Principles are at the heart of OCP, because preserving our environments’ future is something very close to us. We’ve invested very heavily in the latest storage systems and technology to meet all expectations in the elimination of waste and are constantly resetting our internal KPI’s to meet our stretched targets – eg OCP have not sent any pallets to landfill in 19 years.

SUSTAINABLE SOURCES

Timber is one of the earths most sustainable resources and is carbon neutral. As people everywhere become more environmentally concerned, OCP feels that it’s very important that we reduce our carbon footprint where possible – reduced transportation use, local sourcing of raw materials and maximum reuse of that raw material.

PROMOTING A CIRCULAR ECONOMY

Designing low-carb products that optimise raw material use and minimise waste. Collaborating to develop and implement innovative services to optimise the whole life use of the timber pallets and packaging we supply, across complex and diverse supply chains.

Setting resource efficiency objectives to reduce our energy consumption and minimise all non-recyclable waste production from our operations.

Roadtrack, aligned with our sophisticated barcode system allows OCP to track our customers orders and optimise our logistics to enable us maintain our excellent customer service levels.

MINIMAL WASTE

OCP’s business model is all about reusing our resources as often as possible, where possible. We repair used pallets to the highest standards and manufacture new pallets from sustainably produced timber. Our technology and systems allow us to minimise any waste of this precious resource – and as we manufacture to high standards, reuse is rarely an issue.

CLOSING THE LOOP

At Oliver Conroy Pallets, in partnership with our sister company Flamers, we take back your end of life/waste pallets and turn them into Eco-Friendly Solid fuel, promoting a circular economy and taking care of our planet.
